The Oklahoma City Thunder showed Friday night they have other options when Kevin Durant is covered during a tight game. Jeff Green made a layup with 2.5 seconds left, lifting Oklahoma City to a 105-104 win over the Detroit Pistons. "Everybody in the gym thought KD was going to get the ball," Detroit's Ben Gordon said.
Best places to buy official NBA jerseys in Springfield, Missouri (Associated Content)

Supporting the NBA in southwest Missouri got a little easier in 2009 when the Oklahoma City Thunder moved in from Seattle. The Thunder play a five hour drive down Interstate 44 in the Ford Center. St. Louis and Kansas City are without NBA teams so the Thunder are the closest thing we have to a home team in the Springfield-Branson area. Consumers can buy official NBA jerseys online but some area sports stores do carry them in Springfield. My suggestion is to go Battlefield Mall since many specialty apparel stores will have at least some jerseys in stock on a…

Lying flat on his back and writhing in pain, Kevin Durant gave Oklahoma City its first big scare of the season. By the time the game was on the line, he and Russell Westbrook were soaring high again and leading the Thunder to victory. Durant scored 30 points, Russell Westbrook added 28 points and 10 rebounds and Oklahoma City beat the new-look Chicago Bulls 106-95 on Wednesday night in the season…
First person NBA fan take: The New Orleans Hornets will sting the rest of the NBA in 2010-2011 (Associated Content)
October 26, 2010
New Orleans is ready for an NBA championship in 2010-2011 When I was a small boy growing up in New Orleans, my relatives told me that Pete Maravich was the most talented player in the NBA. But just when I got old enough to start following the Jazz, they moved to Utah. It looked like the NBA was coming back to New Orleans in the '90s, but a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves fell through. Finally, the Charlotte Hornets relocated to New Orleans and the NBA was back in the Big Easy.
Best online sources for cheap NBA tickets (Associated Content)

Tickets for NBA games are sold through Ticketmaster for individual games. You can buy tickets in advance for any game on the schedule and at any venue. If you want to get cheaper tickets there are some websites to check out that may have cheaper tickets than you can find on Ticketmaster. As an example, I will use my quasi-hometown team the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder play their home games at the Oklahoma Ford Center near the new and revitalized downtown area of OKC.
